Dr. Shirene Woodham has been a nurse for over two decades and has worked within multiple specialties. As a provider, she worked for the Department of Public Health in Yokosuka, Japan, for the United States Navy and provided primary care of our service men and women. She relocated to Mesa, Arizona, in the summer of 2019 and continued working in primary care and in urgent care in the East Valley. A founding member of Desert Life Primary Care and specializing in family health, Dr Woodham’s nursing expertise and experience are hallmarks of our practice’s vision for honest and meaningful patient care that only a nurse can bring.

Dr. Woodham was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Irvine, California. She graduated from the University of South Alabama as a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is dual certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
